Look who got married!

So today marks nine days of wedded bliss.....wow. Time flies! Just the other day I was fretting over the 'Here Comes the Bride Sign', pouring over etsy.com for ideas and then the day came. And oh what a day! Seeing Mr. Roulette standing with the Rev. Uncle (Reverend Charles Bass) had me wanting to just run on over to him and declare myself married right away! But I had to look cute and do the slow thing they call a walk down the aisle and boy was I nervous! You see, somehow I have developed an aversion to heels. It feels so much more comfortable (and safer) being closer to the ground, don't you think?

Anywho, I wondered how I would chronicle Year One, and thereafter even. I actually wanted to start a blog after we set the wedding date but never got around to it. Grad school, full time job and planning a wedding while still maintaining an active social (and courting) life ain't no easy task!! (Can you hear me calling me Superwoman?).

So now I am Mrs. Roulette. I was just applying for my SS name change and realized my initials will not change at all! Which reminds me. I need to go to DMV, my bank, call AT&T, KCP&L and all the utility companies we have to update them on my name. Is there an agency I can pay 50 bucks to do all that for me? Coz I ain't got time for that (check out Sweet Brown on youtube) phone tagging, formfilling, call-waiting etc. I mean, I have to cook for my hubby, take the bachelorette gifts on a spin (wink wink), and finish opening the gifts which are still coming in the mail. I do love my friends and family for being so sweet and kind enough to buy us so many gifts! Looking at them, I think I have to channel the Rachel Ray in me and get that brother eating some nice hot meals!!!
